Scott Drannen has been with Central States Group for 17 years, specializing in sanitary tube, fittings and valves for the food and dairy industry. He thinks the company’s service to the Ethanol/Renewable Fuels industry is a logical one. “The most fulfilling part of my career is helping people get out of binds. I listen, pay attention to detail and know that doing things right the first time is important, so that’s my goal,” says Scott.

Todd Dumont recognizes the importance of building relationships with his customers and getting the job done right and on time. “Our customers trust us because of our industry experience and because of the processes we have in place to get them what they need when they need it. Our inventory tracking, crating and shipping system is second to none – cutting out confusion and backorders,” says Todd who has been with the company for 17 years.

Derwin Kardell – With a tenure of 17 years with Central States Group, Derwin enjoys the customers he’s come to know over the years, and the challenges that keep them coming. His specialty is knowing how systems go together and suggesting products that are easier to install that also save money. Derwin is excited to be in the Ethanol/Renewable Fuels business. “We know this business and the products used in plants and are able to provide some real insight as to what products to use when building the plant, and when they need replacement parts,” he said.

Dennis Renfrow has always been mechanically inclined, which explains his vast knowledge of valve automation. He has been sharing his knowledge on this and many other parts and technologies with Central States Group customers for more than 15 years. “When you know your product and the industry, you don’t just offer up the right product. You offer the right solution to meet the problem,” Dennis says.
